LifeChoice Activox Sport Portable Oxygen Concentrator

If you are a medical oxygen patient currently undergoing oxygen therapy through a portable oxygen concentrator, and you are in the market for a new pulse flow oxygen concentrator then you won't want to miss this!

Inova Labs the company that brought you the LifeChoice and the LifeChoice Activox, have delivered yet again on their commitment to outstanding portable oxygen concentrators.

The LifeChoice Activox Sport is a hot unit right now throughout the medical oxygen community, due to its extreme portability without weighing patients down as well as being loaded with tons of exciting and user-friendly features!

LifeChoice Activox Sport: For the Active Oxygen

Patient in your Family

The LifeChoice Activox Sport is intended for medical oxygen patients that require a pulse flow rate of up to 3.

When engineering the Activox Sport, Inova Labs cut some weight from the unit and in the end delivered one of the lightest portable oxygen concentrators on the market by only weighing 3.9 pounds!

The dimensions are incredible small at 7.8" height x 9.05" wide x 4.38" deep.

Meaning this portable oxygen concentrator is ideal for the active patient, because this can easily be transported and supported to every activity without being a burden.

The LifeChoice Activox Sport has been approved for air travel through the FAA, which makes traveling with medical grade oxygen as easy and hassle free as ever!

Battery Life

With select units the smallness of the unit compromises the battery life, or an internal battery was left out in all.

Well Inova Labs didn't want to be like the rest so they designed the LifeChoice Activox Sport with a built-in battery, as well as the additional option of having an external battery.

A combined battery life of up to 8.5 hours will ensure patients that they can run all their errands, perform exercise routines, while still receiving their prescribed oxygen and still have battery life leftover for down time.

If the time ever comes that you forgot to charge the battery or during long road trips, the LifeChoice Activox Sport has the capability of charging and powering the internal and external batteries with the DC power cord through the cigarette lighter.

Which comes standard in most cars, trucks, SUV'S, and R.V.'S.

Pulse Flow Setting Internal Battery External Battery Total Battery Life
1 Up to 5.5 Hours Up to 3 Hours Up to 8.5 Hours
2 Up to 4 Hours Up to 3 Hours Up to 7 Hours
3 Up to 2 Hours Up to 2 Hours Up to 4 Hours

Packed Full of Easy to Read Controls

With all the portable oxygen concentrators out there it may be difficult and most of all confusing to sort through and understand all the different types of features and alarms.

The LifeChoice Activox makes reading and understanding these controls as simple as can be! The control panel includes:

  • Pulse setting control buttons 1, 2, or 3
  • Easy to access and read power button
  • LED Internal/external battery gauges; Displayed in the nearest 25% increment
  • Auto Mode indicator: Active-high and sleep-low sensitivity modes
  • Mute Button to disable audible alarms

The auto mode indicator simply displays whether the patient is in active-high or sleep-low mode, this is determined automatically and strictly by the patients breathing patterns.

Cutting Edge Technology

When sleeping patients breath rate slows down which triggers the Activox Sport to change into sleep-low mode.

The technology in charge of doing so is referred to as Auto Mode.

When on sleep mode the sensitivity to detect breath is increased by 10 times, which delivers the necessary amount of oxygen to the sleeping patient.

90% of medical oxygen patients can sleep with the LifeChoice Activox Sport.

Which means the the Activox Sport can be used as both a daytime and nighttime unit, as long as your prescribed pulse flow rate is 1-3.

Another very important technology that is included in the LifeChoice Activox Sport and puts it apart from the rest is Pulse-Wave delivery system.

This simply delivers oxygen in congruence with the patient's normal inhalation rate, so everything that is delivered is received.

Compared to a standard pulse dose flow machine that delivers a bolus dose at the beginning of inhalation, making some of the delivered oxygen going to waste because the bolus dose rate and flow often exceeds the inhalation rate of the patient.

If you or a loved one is a medical oxygen patient whom requires a pulse flow rate of 1,2 or 3, and loves to travel then the FAA approved LifeChoice Activox Sport is the unit for you!
