How to Recharge Your Zen-O Lite Batteries

You have a couple of options when it comes to recharging the batteries in your Zen-O Lite. The Zen-O Lite comes with both an AC and DC power cord, either of which you can use for easy and convenient charging.

The AC power supply has a 110V power cord which can be plugged into any standard wall outlet. Once plugged in your oxygen will be supplied via electricity while the concentrator continues to supply you with oxygen. This can be done at home or very easily and discreetly with a nearby outlet in a restaurant, airport, or office.

The DC power supply works much the same way in your car, truck, RV, or boat. Simply plug the DC plug in the cigarette lighter or other existing DC outlet and your concentrator will supply you with oxygen via DC power while simultaneously supplying you with oxygen. Speed and ability to charge will vary with each vehicle so it’s important to test before embarking on a long journey for the first time. Also, please keep in mind that the concentrator must be plugged into the outlet closest to the battery for proper function.

Operating Your Zen-O Lite

Powering Your Zen-O Lite and Off

Press and hold the power button for a second and your Zen-O Lite will come to life. The button is large and easy to find, even in dim lighting. The machine will beep to let you know that it has powered on. To turn the machine off push and hold the button again and the Zen-O Lite will power itself off.

Changing Flow Rate Settings

Your doctor will prescribe you with a flow rate to use. It may be different depending upon if you are active, at rest, or sleeping. If at this level you still feel short of breath it is important to ask your physician to vary your rate. To change flow rates on the Zen-O Lite, simply depress the + or – button to increase or decrease the flow.

Real-Time Battery Life Display

To monitor your battery you can press the battery button on the instrument panel. The screen will instantly let you know how much battery life you have left so that you can recharge, change batteries, or it might be time to head back home or to the car to recharge.

Intuitive Alarm System

The Zen-O Lite features intuitive monitoring of your oxygen intake. It offers both visual and audio alarms to warn the user of low battery life, service required, or no breath detected. If your cannula comes loose or you are getting low on battery power the machine will alert you in plenty of time to take action before trouble can occur.
